Ukraine launched the first state AI: how it will work for veterinary licenses
According to glavcom.ua: For the first time, Ukraine has launched a state service that uses artificial intelligence to verify documents. This information was shared by the Ministry of Economic Development, Environment, and Agriculture, as reported by the publication 'Glavkom'.
Now the process of obtaining a veterinary license through the 'ePermit' system includes automatic document verification using artificial intelligence. When submitting an application on the 'Diia' portal, the 'ePermit' system automatically checks the documents and returns the result. This process simplifies obtaining the license, reduces denials, and speeds up the processing of applications.
'The launch of the AI module for veterinary licensing is just the beginning. The further plan includes expanding to other types of services,' the ministry notes.
To use this service, it is necessary to have a qualified electronic signature (QES), information about the building, educational documents of management and specialists, as well as information about the material and technical base. After filling out the application on the 'Diia' portal, it automatically enters the 'ePermit' system, where artificial intelligence analyzes the application and provides recommendations to the expert. The result is expected within 10 working days.
'After registration approval, you will receive a license. If adjustments need to be made to the application, the expert will suggest what data needs to be clarified or corrected for resubmission,' the Diia team reports.
Ukraine is moving forward in utilizing modern technologies in the public sector, simplifying and speeding up the processes of providing state services to citizens and businesses.
