In Ukraine, the duration of basic military training has been increased: what else will change for recruits
According to hvylya.net: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, announced changes to the duration of military training, increasing the period of basic general training from 49 to 51 days. This new program includes training to counter enemy drones, which plays a key role in the current conditions of combat operations. Other important elements include developing basic training in the rear areas of brigades and strengthening the psychological readiness of the military.
'The duration of basic general training will be increased - to 51 days. Two additional days will be added for training servicemen to counter the enemy's strike drones', emphasized Syrsky.
Moreover, requirements for the placement of military equipment and personnel have been tightened, prohibiting their accumulation and placement in tent camps. Major General Igor Skibyuk, who has been appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has taken on the responsibility for implementing this new training direction.
In light of changes in basic military training, the emphasis on countering enemy drones and strengthening the psychological readiness of the military is a step towards increasing the effectiveness of strikes on the battlefield and ensuring the safety of servicemen.
