Vadim Gutsait on the fight against match-fixing: what was discussed at the meeting
A meeting of representatives of the working group "National Integrity in Sports Platform" and the Ukrainian Football Association with members of professional clubs took place at the Football House. They discussed how to counteract manipulations and match-fixing.
The event was attended by representatives of the Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Premier League clubs, and the Professional Football League. The main focus is on protecting fair play, the trust of fans, and the reputation of sports in Ukraine.
"Manipulations and attempts to influence the results of sporting competitions harm sports as a whole. Therefore, it is important for us to jointly fight for the integrity and reputation of Ukraine in the world," emphasized Vadim Gutsait.
Participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts, informing athletes and coaches, and responding promptly to violations. This event was yet another step toward strengthening cooperation among various sectors for the development of fair and responsible sports in Ukraine.
Participants at the Football House discussed issues related to countering manipulations and match-fixing in sports. The President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Vadim Gutsait, noted the significance of united efforts to protect fair play and the reputation of Ukraine in the sports world. The meeting was another step towards creating a transparent and responsible sports environment in the country.
