Experts have detected counterfeit among popular butter brands: test results

The Ukrainian public has been revealed the truth about counterfeit butter. Through a study conducted by a famous TikTok blogger, @poishla29, it turned out that some well-known butter brands are actually fakes. Among the brands tested were 'Yagotynske', 'Molokia', 'Roshen', 'Ferma', 'Premiya', 'Derazhni' and 'Selyanske'.

The experiment surprised everyone: one of the most expensive options turned out to be low-quality product.

To ensure the quality of the butter, the blogger suggested three simple ways to check.

• The first method: consistency

Real butter should be hard, almost stone-like, when taken out of the refrigerator. Some of the samples tested quickly became liquid, raising suspicions.

• The second method: water test

During this test, a quality product should dissolve evenly in hot water, forming a uniform white film on the surface. At the same time, the fake product left the water clear.

• The third method: cooling

Real butter should form a uniform layer of fat after cooling, while the counterfeit will be in the form of a granular film.

The best products turned out to be from 'Molokia', 'Premiya' and 'Yagotynske', unfortunately, 'Selyanske' turned out to be the wrong choice. The blogger recommends Ukrainians check the quality of products themselves, not relying solely on appearance.
