According to glavcom.ua: An explosion occurred in a 20-story building in the Mott Haven area of New York City. The building partially collapsed, but fortunately, no one was injured or killed. An open gas rupture box likely caused the incident. An investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of the case.
Mayor Eric Adams noted that it is a great fortune to have avoided a tragedy. Currently, 140 residents of the building are left homeless, but they are being provided assistance in temporary settlement. The rescue service continues to work at the scene, ensuring that there are no casualties under the rubble.
