While the Ukrainian national team concluded the competition without winning a single medal, its athletes secured top-ten finishes in various disciplines on eight separate occasions.

Reflecting on his Olympic experience, Mandzin stated:

“I said this before the Games as well: I didn't go there just to participate and be an Olympian, as many athletes dream of. My goal was a bit different. I went there as a competitive individual striving to show my best self.”

The athlete added that he is generally satisfied with his results, acknowledging some performances were better than others. 'At the very least, I can assure you I gave everything I had at that moment,' he emphasized.
