According to hvylya.net: Ukraine is reforming the rules for selling new cars. Now buyers will have the opportunity to learn more about the environmental characteristics and fuel consumption of each model.
Dealerships must now have posters or electronic boards with data on the type of fuel, official consumption figures, and CO2 emissions next to each model. Posters will be updated every six months, and electronic tables every three months.
A government online directory has also been launched, which will contain information on fuel consumption and emissions of all new car models on the market, as well as rankings of the most economical and ecological vehicles. This innovation will allow buyers to be better informed before purchasing a car.
As a result of these changes, the automotive market in Ukraine is becoming more transparent and environmentally oriented, allowing consumers to make informed choices when buying a car.
