Russia attacked the checkpoint 'Orlivka': how the border crossing has changed
The enemy attacked the checkpoint 'Orlivka' on the border with Romania
On the night of November 22, enemy forces again carried out an attack with strike drones on the international checkpoint 'Orlivka'. As a result of the strike, the infrastructure of the ferry complex was damaged, along with over 10 trucks. Fortunately, there are no casualties.
The operation of the international checkpoint has been temporarily suspended. Specialists are already working to eliminate the consequences and restore the operation of the facility.
Border crossing and queue operation:
- Registration for all queues at 'Orlivka' has been temporarily suspended - both for trucks and buses.
- The queue support service is already in contact with bus carriers who planned to cross today, and is helping to re-register to the 'Reni' checkpoint if necessary.
- We also recommend cargo carriers choose other checkpoints. For example, at 'Reni', the waiting time remains minimal.
This is already the third time that 'Orlivka' has been the target of an attack. Despite the destruction, the checkpoint has managed to resume operations each time. The aggressor continues its systematic attacks on civil infrastructure.
