Natalia was previously an entrepreneur and owned a sewing production in Kryvyi Rih. But soon a shell hit there, and the woman, who was then 48 years old, decided not to restore the factory and to mobilize. The woman served in the separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky, evacuated the wounded, and provided medical assistance at the front.

«I think you should not be afraid. If I went to war and knew that I could die, then I was even less afraid to get pregnant and give birth. This is a choice for every woman, but life is always worth fighting for,» said Natalia.

In March 2025, she learned that she would become a mother for the third time. She recalls: «Sergey couldn’t contain his emotions – he cried out of joy.» Natalia then transferred to another unit, where she continued to serve until the 30th week of her pregnancy.

«At the 36th week of pregnancy, through a cesarean section, the defender and defender's couple welcomed a girl, Solomiya, into the world. She came into this world weighing 2500 grams and measuring 48 cm. Despite the mother's age, the baby received a high score of 8/9 on the Apgar scale, which indicates her strong health. Natalia is now an example of what motherhood at an older age is possible and safe if you have a team of experienced medical professionals around you. Women successfully give birth to children even after 50 – modern medicine only facilitates this,» reported the National Rehabilitation Center Unbroken.
