Salaries in Ukraine have increased to 26 thousand: who earns the most
Ukrainians' salaries have noticeably increased. It has become known in which sectors they traditionally pay more.
As reported by 'Khvylia', this is supported by data from the State Statistics Service.
The average nominal salary in Ukraine in September of this year rose to 26,623 hryvnias, which is 2.7% more than the previous month.
However, despite the increase in average incomes, the situation with wage arrears remains critical: as of October 1, the wage arrears reached 3.7 billion hryvnias.
As before, specialists in the field of information and telecommunications earn the most - their average salary is 64,330 hryvnias. Meanwhile, the lowest incomes are among education workers - only 16,901 hryvnias.
The level of wages varies significantly depending on the region. The highest salaries are in the capital: Kyiv residents earn an average of 40,111 hryvnias. High figures were also recorded in the Luhansk (32,952 UAH) and Dnipropetrovsk (27,416 UAH) regions. The lowest wages are in Chernivtsi (18,841 UAH) and Kirovohrad (19,065 UAH) regions.
It is worth noting that despite rising prices, the minimum wage has not been increased in 2025, and in November it will remain at the level of 8,000 hryvnias. According to representatives of the State Statistics Service, data on average salaries are formed based on reports from enterprises, institutions, and organizations where ten or more employees work.
State Statistics data confirm a 2.7% increase in the average salary in Ukraine, but the problem of wage arrears remains relevant, alongside a significant difference in salaries depending on the region. The low minimum wage raises discussions about social justice and the need for its increase.
