Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discovered a corruption scheme in 'Energoatom' and submitted the issue of sanctions to the National Security and Defense Council. He demands the resignation of the justice and energy ministers, who became subjects of the scandalous scheme. At the same time, the president supported the government in introducing sanctions against certain individuals and the resignation of other officials involved in corrupt actions.
Zelensky substantiates his position based on national security and the importance of professionalism and ethics of power. This new decision paves the way for the fight against corruption and increasing citizens' trust in the government.
