Збройні сили України підтвердили удари по російському військовому судну та важливому нафтопереробному об'єкту.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Confirm Recent Attacks

According to Главком: The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has confirmed successful strikes against a Russian frigate and other military targets. On April 5, 2026, Ukrainian forces targeted oil infrastructure in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, specifically hitting the 'Sheskharis' terminal. These attacks are part of a broader campaign to degrade Russia's military logistics and economic resources. The strikes resulted in damage to:

  • Berths No. 1, 1A, 2, 6, and 7;
  • The oil distribution and loading pipeline system;
  • Three storage tanks at the 'Grushovaya' oil depot, which supplies the 'Sheskharis' terminal.

This facility was a high-priority target due to its strategic role in oil supply. Simultaneously, two attack drones struck a Project 11356R 'Burevestnik'-class frigate, a vessel known to carry 'Kalibr' cruise missiles.

Damage to Russian Military Installations

In the early hours of April 6 and the morning of April 7, Ukrainian forces hit Russian UAV control points in Zelenyi, Zaporizhzhia region, and Udachne in Donetsk region. Concentrations of Russian troops were also struck in the areas of:

  • Strohanivka;
  • Krasnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region;
  • Rodynske, Donetsk region.

As part of this operation, Ukraine's Defense Forces also struck Russian military objects in the port of Novorossiysk. A key vessel of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the frigate 'Admiral Makarov', was hit at least twice. Satellite imagery shows damage to oil pipelines near Berths No. 1 and 2, as well as to Berth No. 2 itself in Novorossiysk, indicating the severity of the attacks.

These actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces demonstrate an intensification of military operations against Russian assets, potentially signaling a shift in tactics within the conflict.

The strikes on critical infrastructure like the 'Sheskharis' terminal and the frigate 'Admiral Makarov' underscore the strategic aim of crippling the enemy's military capabilities. Such deep strikes could have long-term implications for Russia's resource supply and defensive posture in the region.

As the Ukrainian military escalates its operations, recent strikes not only targeted naval assets but also significant military infrastructure. For instance, the attacks on Russian S-400 systems and key industrial sites underline a strategic shift aimed at crippling the enemy's capabilities.
