More Weapons for Ukraine – EU Outlines Conditions for Ending the War

The war between Russia and Ukraine must be urgently ended. Ukraine must win it.

For that, it needs to receive more weapons from its Western partners. This was stated by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, as reported by Spiegel.

According to her, the international community must increase support for Ukraine, which is fighting against Russia, in financial, military, and humanitarian areas.

More weapons for Ukraine, more financial and humanitarian aid, more practical solidarity, and more sanctions against Russia, stressed Metsola.

She also noted that she is proud of the support the EU has provided to Ukraine since the beginning of this unjust war.

However, according to her, the European Union can do more, which is why she welcomed the recently adopted EU sanctions against Russia.

A new package of sanctions against the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, has been introduced to derail the Russian economy. Sanctions have been imposed against nearly 200 individuals and entities. This was stated by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

The European Parliament approved the allocation of 18 billion euros in aid to Ukraine during its meeting on November 24. The funds are aimed at helping Ukrainians survive the war and recover after shelling.
