According to glavcom.ua: The governor of the Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov, reported that the air defense system successfully repelled a drone attack on the energy infrastructure of the region. This led to a fire at the Balashovskaya substation.
The firefighting forces quickly extinguished the flames, but the neighboring Russian city of Saratov also suffered from the drone attack - the oil refinery was damaged, and the local airport halted operations.
In this situation, it is very important to respond promptly to threats and ensure the safety of critical infrastructure facilities to avoid similar incidents in the future.
