Ukraine's Fuel Prices as of April 11: Latest Figures for Gasoline and Diesel
Latest Fuel Price Update in Ukraine
According to Главком: As of April 11, 2026, fuel prices in Ukraine have been adjusted. The average cost for a liter of A-95 gasoline is now 74.01 UAH, while diesel fuel stands at 90.88 UAH per liter. Price reductions have been implemented by several major filling station networks, including:
- WOG
- KLO
- BRSM-Nafta
Conversely, the most expensive fuel is currently found at the following networks:
- Okko
- WOG
- Socar
The lowest prices are offered by Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta.
'National Cashback' Program
A 'National Cashback' program for fuel purchases has been active in Ukraine since March 20, 2026. It offers rebates of:
- 15% on diesel
- 10% on gasoline
- 5% on autogas
The maximum rebate is 1,000 UAH per person per month, and the program is scheduled to run until May 1, 2026. Government officials have stated the cashback initiative is designed to support citizens most affected by rising fuel costs without impacting military funding.
Oleksii Sobolev noted: 'The Cabinet of Ministers launched the fuel cashback because it does not affect support for the army and provides assistance to those who most need financial help due to rising fuel prices.'
Throughout March 2026, diesel supply volumes remained at 2025 levels, indicating no current shortage. Serhii Kuyun confirmed: 'There is no diesel fuel shortage, nor is one expected.' However, as Pavlo Kyrylenko pointed out, a primary factor driving price increases is Ukraine's reliance on imports for over 85% of its light oil products, following the shutdown of the country's largest oil refinery. This situation highlights the vulnerability of Ukraine's fuel market to external supply chains.
The price of diesel in Ukraine has risen by 33.9%. Experts cite several other factors contributing to the overall increase in fuel prices:
- Growing demand volumes
- Reduced supply volumes and inventories
- Increased cost of logistics services
These combined factors are creating a challenging environment for Ukraine's oil products market.
In a context of persistently rising fuel costs, the 'National Cashback' program may serve as a crucial support mechanism for consumers, particularly those hardest hit by the price hikes. However, the increase in diesel and gasoline prices is likely to affect other sectors of the economy, including transportation and goods costs, potentially creating additional financial strain for the population. Monitoring the oil products market and import supplies remains key to understanding future price trends in Ukraine.
