Record Month for 'Kalibrs' in Ukraine

According to hvylya.net: Last month was a record one in a long time for the use of Russian cruise missiles 'Kalibr' against Ukraine. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk, on the air of the 'Kyiv24' TV channel.

According to the military, the loading of 'Kalibr'-type missiles depends on the type of carrier and circumstances. 'There are surface ships, submarines, thus different loading processes are applied. At the same time, the missiles themselves also need to be prepared, which is quite a complex process,' Pletenchuk explained.

Pletenchuk noted that although the majority of logistics remained with the Russians in Crimea, the occupiers are actively using 'Kalibrs' from Novorossiysk. 'As you can see, in Novorossiysk they have also been loading missiles for over a year. And they use them periodically. Last month was record-breaking for a long time,' the military added.

Situation at Sea

Pletenchuk also noted that the situation in the Black and Azov Seas is constantly monitored by the military. Russian ships have not been observed in the Azov Sea for almost a year, as the occupiers fear to return due to the successful actions of the Ukrainian Navy.

The intensification of 'Kalibr' usage indicates attempts by Russian occupiers to compensate for fleet losses through the intensive use of missile weapons from safer bases.

In summary: Recent data indicates a record activity of Russian cruise missiles 'Kalibr' aimed at Ukraine, as stated by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy. The occupiers are using this missile weapon from bases in Crimea and Novorossiysk, noting an increase in the intensity of attacks. At the same time, the military points out the absence of Russian ships in the Azov Sea for almost a year, as the occupiers refrain from returning due to the resistance of the Ukrainian Navy.
