Chernobyl NPP has lost power supply due to shelling of energy infrastructure

According to hvylya.net: The Chernobyl nuclear power plant faced an unpleasant situation - due to shelling of the energy infrastructure in the Kyiv region, the plant is without power supply. This means that an important facility that ensures the isolation of the ruins of the fourth power unit is left without electricity.

This information was made public by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. We hope that the workers will be able to quickly restore the power supply to the plant.

Emergency situation due to enemy shelling of the energy facility

An alarming situation arose in the city of Slavutych due to shelling of the energy facility at Chernobyl NPP. The network voltage exploded, and once again, the New Safe Confinement, which prevents the penetration of radioactive materials into the environment, has lost power supply.

'Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the power supply as quickly as possible,' emphasized the Ministry of Energy.

Restoration of power supply is being carried out by specialists

Earlier, reports were made about a drone attack on the energy infrastructure in the Kyiv region. This led to power cuts for residents of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. Currently, specialists are working on restoring power supply, and repair crews are on the scene.

It should be noted that over 300 thousand consumers were left without electricity in Chernihiv, and strict disconnection schedules have been implemented.

The events unfolding at Chernobyl NPP indicate serious threats to energy facilities in Ukraine due to enemy attacks. The emergency situation that has arisen shows how important it is to ensure the safety and reliability of electricity networks in the country.
