According to Главком: Ukraine's film industry is buzzing after the announcement of the 'Thousand Springs' competition results, a program launched on the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. A total of 2,634 applications were submitted, demonstrating strong engagement across various categories. The most expensive proposal came in at 438.45 million UAH, submitted by newcomer Oksen Osipov, highlighting the significant potential of emerging talent in the cinematic field.

Newcomers Make Their Mark

In the feature films and series category, 33% of submissions came from debutants, reflecting a growing influx of fresh voices. Similarly, newcomers accounted for 32% of documentary entries and 30% of animation and children's film projects.

For audiovisual shows and social media video clips, 554 projects were submitted. However, notably, none of these were debut works. Ilona Shneider commented on this: 'Among them-not a single debut, only experts and professionals. No debuts were submitted in this category.'

Additionally, the total budget of applications in the audiovisual show category exceeded the allocated budget for that direction by six times. Furthermore, 37% of projects in this category have budgets ranging from 1 to 3 million UAH, as Ilona Shneider also noted:
