Export of Ukrainian beef increased by 64%: who buys meat abroad

According to ХВИЛЯ: The export of Ukrainian beef in November 2025 shows significant growth, despite the challenges of wartime. According to data, the export of fresh or chilled beef increased by 64% compared to October, reaching 411 tons. The revenue from beef exports amounted to 3.25 million dollars.

Main buyers and trends

The main buyers of fresh beef were:

• Turkey, which purchased 65% of the total volume;
• Georgia;
• Jordan.

As for frozen beef, the leaders are:

• Azerbaijan with 35%;
• China with 26%.

It is important to note that 85% of live cattle is exported to Lebanon.

Beef prices have also risen: over the past year they have increased by 16%, and compared to the average figures for the past five years, by 35%. Additionally, the volumes of imported elite breeds of cattle in November increased by 117% compared to October. The overall foreign trade balance of Ukraine amounts to over 14.2 million dollars.

The main drivers of export growth were the global meat deficit and record-high prices in global markets.
