Writer and philanthropist Garik Korogodsky decided to switch to the Ukrainian language in the public space due to the start of the war. He even took lessons from philologist Ksenia Uhnenko to improve his language skills. He announced this decision in his blog on social media.

A month ago, Garik published a video on his YouTube channel, where he worked with a publisher and a philologist on improving the Ukrainian language. Now he continues this initiative by recording videos with the philologist and his daughter. The video will be released next Saturday, October 11.

Garik pays more attention to the use of the Ukrainian language in society, aiming to reduce the influence of the Russian-speaking space. Korogodsky noted that even abroad he will speak only Ukrainian. It is also known that the writer intends to run for the position of mayor of Kyiv.
