Footballer banned for 99 years: reason - beating an opponent

According to glavcom.ua: A footballer from the youth team 'Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona', which plays in the third division of the Israeli Championship, received a 99-year ban due to an incident in the locker room where he beat an opponent. A video of this attack became an internet hit.

The press service of 'Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona' reported that the player was expelled from the team due to this incident. It is emphasized that the conflict was provoked by the injured player himself, and not by the player from 'Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona'.

The disciplinary court of the Israeli Football Association deprived the footballer of the right to play until November 2124, and also fined him $750 for the incident.

Regarding the participation of Russian figure skaters in a propaganda event organized by Vladimir Putin, this has drawn criticism for violating the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee. Sayutina and Stepanova also plan to participate in the stages of the World Cup in the USA and Canada.
