According to glavcom.ua: In the occupied territories of the Donetsk region, particularly in Donetsk and Makiivka, there is a significant problem with water supply. Local residents complain about the lack of affordable clean water, while the occupying authority threatens 'nationalization' of sales points, reports 'Glavkom'.

In the social networks of the occupied cities, users are searching for places where they can buy drinking water. They complain that even 'social water' at 3.5 rubles is virtually unavailable for buyers. The cheapest bottled water is already priced at 110 rubles for 5 liters.

Sabotage of the Order by the 'Leader of the DPR' on Water Prices

The occupying authority faces complaints that the order by Denis Pushilin, the 'leader of the DPR', regarding the price of water at 3.50 rubles per liter is being sabotaged. The water machines are empty, and water is not being delivered to sales points.

Water supply problems are not limited to Donetsk and Makiivka. In Khartsyzk, water for sale is only available in the morning.

Local residents also talk about schemes through which sellers evade selling cheap water.

In the machines where water should cost 3.50 rubles per liter, it actually turns out to be 4-5 rubles. At the same time, the buyer does not receive the full volume for which they pay. When asked about this, they are told that they are forced to set such prices.

Local residents complain about the shortage of water and difficulties in obtaining it in the occupied cities of the Donetsk region.

In the conflict zone in eastern Ukraine, problems with water supply continue, particularly in the occupied territories of the Donetsk region. Access to drinking water at affordable prices is becoming increasingly difficult for locals, while the occupying authority cannot ensure effective water supply, leading to conflicts and discontent among the population.
