Kraków has overtaken Warsaw for the first time in terms of average salary, showing 11,160.39 zlotys in October 2025. This occurred against a backdrop of a general increase in the average salary across the country, which amounted to 8,865.12 zlotys, 6.6% higher than a year ago. The average salary increase in Kraków reached 9.2%, which is also a significant indicator.
Warsaw remains in second place for average salary, with an average income of 10,606.89 zlotys. Gdańsk occupies the third place with a salary of 10,370.97 zlotys. The lowest salary level is recorded in Gorzów Wielkopolski, where it stands at 7,510 zlotys. The second and third lowest salary figures are in Białystok (7,584.90 zlotys) and Kielce (7,731.93 zlotys), respectively. The difference between the highest salary in Kraków and the lowest in Gorzów Wielkopolski is 3,650.39 zlotys.
Popular Job Vacancies Among Ukrainians
During the first nine months of 2025, Ukrainians actively sought job vacancies in the logistics and packaging sectors. 49% of Ukrainian citizens chose jobs as packers and sorters. Other popular employment options included:

- Technical unskilled jobs (9.5%)
- Work in meat and fish processing (9.47%)
