The Ministry of Defense has launched a drone rating: military evaluates equipment after battle
The weapon marketplace DOT-Chain Defence has introduced an important feature - a rating system that allows servicemen to leave evaluations and reviews about the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) they have used in combat conditions. This new option, implemented at the request of the military, aims to significantly improve the process of selecting drones for units. This is reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the Ministry of Defense. From now on, decisions on the purchase of drones will be based not only on technical characteristics but also on the real combat experience of colleagues.
Each authorized user can rate on a five-point scale (from 1 - unsatisfactory to 5 - excellent) and also leave a detailed review of the advantages and disadvantages of drones, the specifics of their application in the field, build quality, resistance to interference, and ease of use.
Currently, ratings and reviews are available only to military personnel. However, in the future, this option will also be available to manufacturers, allowing them to communicate directly with consumers and quickly respond to the comments of fighters. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing to launch a new important function in the mobile application 'Army+'. Soon, servicemen will be able to submit an electronic report for a change of duty station between the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the National Guard of Ukraine. This is reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
'There are many highly skilled specialists in the Ukrainian army. The new function will provide more opportunities to apply their skills as intended, and for commanders - to engage military and civilian expertise and enhance units with new knowledge,' explained Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development Oksana Ferchuk.
The new functionality will be operational in 'Army+' soon - after the official publication and the enactment of the respective resolution. The emergence of a rating system for unmanned aerial vehicles and a new feature in the mobile application 'Army+' indicates ongoing efforts within the Ukrainian army to improve military technologies and simplify the servicing processes for servicemen.
