Promising Project

During the discussions, the parties considered a cooperation project with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) regarding the construction of a tile manufacturing plant. It is planned to produce tiles using recycled materials, including debris waste.

“Ukraine is facing unprecedented levels of destruction due to the war. Currently, there are over 800,000 tons of debris waste, and this figure, unfortunately, grows daily. It is extremely important for Ukraine not only to clear the territory of tons of waste but also to create a modern recycling industry that will provide high-quality, safe, and eco-friendly materials for new construction.”

Marina Denisyuk emphasized the importance of creating eco-friendly materials for construction in Ukraine. The government is actively adapting legislation to EU waste management standards to ensure transparent conditions for international investors.
