Mobilization in November: who is subject to conscription under current rules
According to hvylya.net: In November 2025, mobilization in Ukraine will take place under the law 'On Mobilization Training and Mobilization'. No new changes to the mobilization procedure are provided; everything will occur according to the existing rules.
Who can be called up:
- Men aged 25 to 60 without service experience, provided they are healthy and without deferment or exemption;
- Men aged 18-60 with military experience.
Those who were previously temporarily unfit for health reasons but received a fit status after re-examination may also be called up for service.
Aged 18-25 years
Young people aged 18 to 25 cannot be conscripted for service until they reach 25 years old. They become liable for military service only after this age. However, young people aged 18-24 can voluntarily enlist under the 'Contract 18-24' program.
Women and men over 60 years old
Women can serve only by choice, but medical professionals and pharmacists must be registered for military service. Men over 60 have the opportunity to sign a contract under the 'Contract 60+' program for non-combat positions.
