Deadly Road Incidents in Vinnytsia Oblast
According to Главком: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 9-year-old boy on a bicycle in the settlement of Voronovytsia, Vinnytsia region, on June 24. According to the Main Directorate of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast, around 1:20 PM, a 54-year-old driver of a GAZ-66 truck struck the child after the young cyclist lost control of the bike and fell onto the roadway. The boy died at the scene.
This incident is not isolated in the area. On May 30, a crash near the village of Ksaverivka in Vinnytsia District killed a mother and her 12-year-old daughter. In another case, in the settlement of Suty sky, Vinnytsia District, a 17-year-old riding a Geon motorcycle hit an 8-year-old boy on a bicycle at an unmarked crosswalk.
Additionally, on April 22, in the village of Zoziv, Vinnytsia District, a 17-year-old resident of Mervyn village lost control of his Mustang motorcycle, veered into a ditch, and collided with a tree. He later died in the hospital. Another accident occurred in Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region, where a 15-year-old teenager struck two schoolgirls at an unmarked crosswalk, resulting in one of them being hospitalized.

These heartbreaking events highlight the critical importance of following traffic regulations, especially given the heightened risks for children.
