The EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI) is seeking a senior communications advisor for the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). A six-month contract is offered with the possibility of earning up to 30,000 euros (up to 5,000 euros per month). This is reported by 'Hlavkom' with reference to the EUACI website.

According to the terms, the maximum daily rate will be 200 euros, and payment will be made monthly.

Requirements for Candidates

The candidate must provide advice not only on crisis communications and countering disinformation but also assist in developing communication strategies, organizing press conferences, and preparing information campaigns for the Ukrainian and international audiences. The expert is also expected to train NABU and SAP staff and coordinate efforts with other anti-corruption structures.

The main requirements for candidates are at least five years of experience in the communications field, relevant education, and excellent knowledge of Ukrainian and English. Desired experience includes working with government authorities and understanding the anti-corruption sector.

'Hlavkom' previously reported that NABU had to close its scandalous case against the manufacturer of thermal imaging sights, Archer. After careful consideration of all investigation materials, a legal decision was made.

NABU emphasized that while previous assessments do not always lead to identifying a crime or punishment for the guilty, they nonetheless help improve internal procedures and the work of anti-corruption organizations as a whole. This further confirms that NABU and SAP's actions take place within the law and in the interests of society and the state.

The competition for the position of senior communications advisor for NABU and SAP is open, inviting candidates with relevant experience and education who are ready to contribute to anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine. The new advisor must be prepared not only to develop communication strategies but also to train and coordinate work with other structures for effective anti-corruption efforts.
