CUKR for Ukrainians in Poland: when will the application portal be active

Ukrainians working in Poland cannot submit documents for the CUKR card due to the absence of an online portal for submitting applications from the Polish government. The basic requirements are already known: the main requirement is continuous residence in Poland from June 4, 2025. You must also have UKR status on the specified date and for the last 365 days prior to submitting the application.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Maciej Duszyński stated that the acceptance of applications for the CUKR card may begin on January 1, 2026, but this depends on the adoption of the corresponding bill and its signing by the president. The bill concerning changes in legislation on foreigners is already being considered in the Sejm, and more detailed information can be found on the official website.

Ukrainian citizens living and working in Poland are awaiting the opportunity to obtain the CUKR card, which will allow them to legalize their status and benefit from certain social privileges in the host country.
