A new international railway route is being launched in Europe, connecting the Polish town of Przemyśl near the Ukrainian border with Frankfurt am Main in Germany. The train will run through Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany, covering more than 1300 kilometers. This route will become one of the longest direct railway connections on the continent. This is reported by Euronews.
The new train will connect the Ukrainian border with Frankfurt
The route is being launched by the private carrier Leo Express. The first trip is scheduled for June 25, 2026.
The train will operate daily in both directions between Przemyśl and Frankfurt am Main, as well as Frankfurt Airport.
The route will pass through the largest cities of Central Europe:

What passengers will receive on the new route
The carrier promises passengers a range of services characteristic of international long-distance trains.
Available in the carriages will be:

The CEO of Leo Express, Peter Keller, stated that the new route will also provide convenient transfers to European and intercontinental flights through Frankfurt Airport.
For Ukrainians, the new train may become an additional alternative for traveling to Germany and other countries of Western Europe through the Polish Przemyśl, which remains one of the main transport hubs near the Ukrainian border.
It should be noted that the European Commission is launching a major reform of railway transportation, aimed at simplifying travel between EU countries. Passengers will be able to purchase one ticket for the entire route, even if the trip includes several carriers.
