Fed by underground springs, this picturesque body of water boasts underwater visibility of up to 20 meters, making it a magnet for tourists. The lake’s shoreline stretches nearly 90 kilometers, while Ohrid itself is famed for its historical landmarks, including roughly 365 churches. Among them, the 13th-century Church of Saint Jovan at Kaneo stands out as a visitor favorite.

Tourism and Costs in Ohrid

With a population of about 38,000, Ohrid is a popular travel destination where prices for a vacation vary:

The list also includes Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Poland.
