In Khmelnytskyi, heating will start on November 1. The city mayor, Oleksandr Symchyshyn, is issuing the corresponding order to ensure heating for residential buildings and other consumers in the city. This information is reported by the publication 'Hlavkom'.

“The Department of Infrastructure of the City (V. Novachok), the municipal enterprise 'Khmelnytskyi Teplokomunenergo' (V. Skaliy) are responsible for turning on the heating. It is planned to gradually turn on residential buildings and other consumers starting from November 1, as well as 24/7 operation of the service personnel during the transition of boilers and heating networks to operational mode,” the order states.

Currently, the heating season has started in 13 regions of Ukraine and is actively ongoing. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Community Development, Kostiantyn Kovalchuk. He also noted that this year it started under extraordinary conditions due to attacks on energy facilities and thermal generation.

Start of the heating season in Kyiv

In Kyiv, the heating season started on October 29 for the residential sector. The city’s mayor, Vitalii Klitchko, emphasized that the launch of the season was carefully prepared considering weather conditions, compliance with fuel usage rules, and ensuring sanitary conditions in buildings.

The government also plans to allocate financial assistance for over 660 thousand Ukrainians for the winter period of 2025-2026. This includes allocating 4.3 billion hryvnias from the state budget.

Heating seasons have started in Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv, which have been carefully prepared and will operate under the supervision of local authorities. Heating residential buildings and supporting Ukrainians during the winter period are important aspects for the comfortable living of citizens in the cold season.
