Putin Cannot Win the War Against Ukraine - US Representative

US Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg noted that Vladimir Putin understands that he cannot win the war against Ukraine. For him, these are futile attempts in the long term.

'I think deep down he realizes that he will not be able to achieve victory. For him, this is a futile struggle for the distant future. It will not happen,' Kellogg remarked.

Countering Russian Aircraft and Drones

Kellogg also emphasized the importance of decisive action against Russian aircraft or drones if they violate the airspace of NATO countries. He mentioned the incident in 2015 when a Russian fighter jet violated Turkish airspace and was shot down.

'Ukraine is already moving in this direction, attacking oil refineries and reducing their output by about 20%. We are working to ensure that no one buys their oil through secondary sanctions. Unfortunately, some European countries are still doing this,' Kellogg added.

Everything Depends on Putin

Kellogg noted that the absence of 'petrodollars' will pose a serious threat to Russia. He believes that today problems start in Moscow rather than in the West, so there is no need to set 'red lines'.

'Now everything is decided in Putin's hands and at the level of pain he is willing to endure. Russia is forced to 'take tanks out of museums',' the American representative stressed.
