Ukrainian bus market is changing: used imports increased by 50%

According to hvylya.net: In October 2025, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was replenished with 225 buses, including minibuses. This is 5% less than in October 2024, reports Ukravtoprom.

The share of new buses in the total sales volume was 49%, while last year this figure reached 57%. This trend indicates an increase in the share of imported used buses in the Ukrainian market.

Since the beginning of the year, the bus fleet of Ukraine has been replenished with 2113 buses, which is 28% more than in the same period of 2024.

Of these:- new – 1046 units (+12%) - used – 1067 units (+50%)

Significant growth in imports of used buses (+50%) indicates high demand for more affordable equipment in conditions of wartime and limited budgets of transport operators.

The Ukrainian vehicle fleet is gradually being replenished with new buses, but this analysis shows that the popularity of imported used vehicles is rising in the market. This indicates certain trends in the choices of transport companies and their capabilities.
