The enemy assault on the Lyman direction was thwarted: how the fog turned against the Russians
According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian defenders openly stopped the attempt to breach the defense in the Lyman direction when Russian troops tried to attack in foggy weather. This was reported by the head of the communication department of the 60th Separate Mechanized Ingulets Brigade, Maxim Bilousov, on the Army TV broadcast.
'Due to the large number of added elements, it was difficult to recognize the type of armored vehicles. However, this did not prevent us from stopping the assault through joint efforts. The 60th and 63rd brigades led the operation to repel the attack,' - explained Bilousov.
According to him, the enemy used the fog for a surprise attack, sending a tank and armored vehicles equipped with improvised protection to the battlefield. Despite the poor visibility, the Ukrainian military was able to coordinate their actions and repel the attack, using FPV drones for reconnaissance and remote mining.
Repetition and training are known through the eyes of the enemy
Bilousov noted that the enemy's attack in the Lyman direction resembles similar attempts from last year, but previous failures did not prevent the occupiers from learning from their mistakes. Ukrainian troops are ready for any developments and maintain a high level of readiness for defense.
