Ukrainian salaries continue to rise. According to the State Statistics Service, in September the average nominal salary reached 26,623 hryvnias, which is 2.7% more than the figure in August.

At the same time, the positive dynamics of income contrasts with the problem of non-payments. As of October 1, employer debts to employees reached 3.7 billion hryvnias.

The income gap between sectors remains significant. Traditionally, the leader in terms of wage levels is the information and telecommunications sector – 64,330 hryvnias. Educators earn the least: the average salary in the education sector is only 16,901 hryvnias.

The geographical factor significantly affects income levels. Capital workers receive an average of 40,111 hryvnias. Much higher than the national average are salaries recorded in Luhansk (32,952 hryvnias) and Dnipropetrovsk (27,416 hryvnias) regions.

The most modest incomes are in Chernivtsi (18,841 hryvnias) and Kirovohrad (19,065 hryvnias) regions.

Despite inflationary pressure, the minimum wage remains unchanged throughout 2025 at 8,000 hryvnias.

Ukrainians can be happy, as salaries continue to rise, but the problem of non-payments persists. The leaders in terms of wage levels remain the information and telecommunications sector, while educators receive the least. The geographical factor also affects income, with the highest salaries in Kyiv and some regions, while the most modest incomes are observed in other regions of the country. Interestingly, the minimum wage remains unchanged throughout 2025.
