USA at the UN: International Forces for Gaza for Two Years

According to glavcom.ua: The United States has proposed the creation of international forces to stabilize the situation in the Gaza Strip for 2 years. This initiative involves the withdrawal of weapons from the territory controlled by non-governmental armed groups, cooperation with the Palestinian police, and humanitarian aid.

'This project, aimed at stabilizing the region, has significant support among countries willing to participate in international forces, but it will depend on the support of the UN,' the document stated.

The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Gaza, mediated by the United States, has been violated by both parties, causing tensions. President Donald Trump believes that peace has been established in the Middle East that can be everlasting.

The concluded agreement is intended to help stabilize the situation in the region and withdraw weapons, but its implementation may face resistance from Russia and China, permanent members of the UN Security Council.
