Discussion on Gas Supply Issues and Safety at Nuclear Power Plants
In preparation for winter, the parties agreed on the necessity of joint efforts to ensure alternative gas supply routes and coordination in gas procurement.
"Russia does not allow Ukrainian energy workers to carry out repairs on the power line at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which poses a threat to nuclear safety," emphasized Roman Andarak.
During the discussion on the situation at the ZNPP, the parties agreed on the need to pressure Russia and ensure safety at Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
The Swedish government is ready to allocate financial assistance to Ukraine ahead of winter, supporting the country's energy and housing infrastructure. Additionally, issues of gas supply and safety at Ukraine's nuclear power plants were discussed, including Russia's interference in repair work at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
