Netanyahu's Son Bought an Apartment in the UK

The son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Avner, purchased an apartment in the UK under a pseudonym. This news was recently disclosed, although the deal was made in 2022. The information was published by Calcalist, reports 'Gromadske'.

The property, located on one of Oxford's residential streets, cost Avner Netanyahu over ₤502,000, which is around $680,000. The apartment was paid for entirely in cash, without involving a mortgage or loan, and financial help was provided by his parents.

Moreover, the property acquisition took place under the pseudonym - Avi Avner Segal, which was formed based on his grandmother's maiden name on his father’s side.

Tax issues attracted special attention. In Israel, the law requires citizens to report the acquisition of foreign property worth more than 2 million shekels to the Tax Authority. However, with the British pound rapidly dropping to a historic low of 3.93 shekels per pound, the transaction could be completed for an amount up to 1.97 million shekels, avoiding the obligation to declare the property.

US President Calls for Netanyahu to Be Exempt from Responsibility

Earlier, US President Donald Trump urged Israeli authorities to exempt Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from responsibility - through a pardon or complete cessation of prosecution in the corruption case. He stated this on his Truth Social account, reports 'Gromadske'.

«I was shocked when I heard that the State of Israel, which has just experienced one of the greatest moments in its history and which is boldly led by Bibi Netanyahu, continues its senseless witch hunt against its great wartime prime minister!»

Let us remind you that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is accused of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, for which he faces up to 13 years in prison.

Buying an apartment in England under a pseudonym by the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again brought attention to the Prime Minister's case and the potential interference of politics in the judicial process. It has also raised questions about the involvement of the Netanyahu family in scandals and conflicts of interest.
