Trump announces the end of the war in the Gaza Strip
According to hvylya.net: US President Donald Trump stated that he signed an agreement symbolizing the end of the war in the Gaza Strip during his speech at the Knesset (the Israeli parliament). He called this day 'a new beginning' for the region. 'For me, it is a great honor - a wonderful and beautiful day. A new beginning,' Trump wrote in the guest book.
According to the publication, all Israeli hostages held by Hamas since October 2023 were released after 737 days of captivity. Returning home, they looked pale and exhausted. Additionally, Hamas agreed to hand over the remains of some of the 28 Israelis killed in the attacks on October 7, 2023.
The agreement signed by Trump is an important step in the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the region and reflects a favorable development for the peaceful coexistence of the parties. Hopes for stability and harmony in the Gaza Strip are now more precious than ever.
