Why it is impossible to predict blackout schedules: explanation from the State Energy Regulation Commission
According to hvylya.net: In simple and clear language, the news explains why it is impossible to accurately forecast power outages for the week. During a national telethon, the acting head of the State Energy Regulation Commission explained that due to unfavorable conditions in the energy system, such as the onset of the cold season and constant attacks from Russia, it is difficult to predict future events. Ukrenergo is currently working on the stability of the energy system, but there are no guarantees due to ongoing hits and destruction stoppages.
'As of today, Ukrenergo and the entire energy system are focused on ensuring stability, at least maintaining what we have. If there are no additional hits, which unfortunately are constantly occurring,' Zamulko explained.
In the future, the energy system will strengthen networks and conduct restoration work at the sites of hits. In the absence of destruction, positive changes in providing electricity to the population are possible.
