This display marks the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion and will remain open to the public until March 2026. The exhibition offers a poignant look at how the conflict has reshaped Ukraine's cultural landscape.

Organized through a collaboration between the Kyiv City History Museum and the Cultural Forces platform, the exhibition presents pieces that tackle the urgent themes of war and its societal impact. One notable participant is Mykhailo Skop, an artist and volunteer whose work since 2014 has evolved, with a strong focus on poster art since 2022.

Mykhailo Skop remarked: 'All of my works contain a certain relevant message or narrative; specifically, the central theme is war. Since 2022, I have been very active in poster art. Under my pseudonym, my posters can be seen in places like America and Europe-they circulate quite widely.'

Valeriy Puzik also underscored the significance of the date 24.02.2022: 'This date has ceased to be just a calendar entry-it has become a state of being.' Other artists featured in the exhibition include Serhii Hrekh (Feros), Ihor Husiev, Stas Zhalobniuk, and Ivan Mykhailov.

'Project 24.02.2022' aims to serve as a vital platform for discussing war-related themes, allowing visitors to glimpse the inner world of the artists through the lens of their creations. It highlights the enduring power of art to process trauma and foster dialogue during times of national crisis.

This exhibition not only commemorates the anniversary of the war's onset but also emphasizes art's role as a means of expression and a tool for working through traumatic experience. It seeks to stimulate conversations about the conflict's impact on society and culture, while reminding viewers of the importance of memory and reflection. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a body of work that channels the artists' personal experiences and emotions amid the ongoing war.
