A Trilogy of Art by 50 Artists Launches at Kyiv's Saint Sophia Cathedral
Exhibition: 'Art at the Turn of the Seasons 2026'
According to Главком: Launching on February 25, 2026, the 'Bread House' gallery within the National Sanctuary 'Sophia of Kyiv' will host the interdisciplinary exhibition project 'Art at the Turn of the Seasons 2026'. The exhibition is organized by the charitable foundation 'Good Heart of Kyiv' in partnership with the sanctuary. This ambitious project, structured as a trilogy, brings together works by over fifty artists. This event highlights the resilience and dynamism of the Ukrainian cultural scene during a pivotal period in the nation's history.
The grand opening for the entire project is scheduled for February 25 at 4:00 PM. The exhibition is organized into thematic blocks, which include:
- Between Fire and Silence
- Ukraine: United, Independent. The Emotions of Friends
- Fantastic Improvisations by 21st Century Ukrainian Women Artists
The first presentation of the block titled 'Ukraine: United, Independent. The Emotions of Friends' was held in Kherson in August 2025.
The Project and Its Participants
Within the 'Between Fire and Silence' block, visitors will encounter Serhiy Zakharov's painting series 'Winter of '26', ceramic objects titled 'Antibooks' by Viktor Butkalyuk and Hennadii Huthartz, a multimedia project by Oleksii Vladimirov, and photographs by Mykola Trokh, Yevheniia Bielorusets, and Pavlo Mazai. The exhibition's key themes focus on a dialogue between eras, a geography of pain and hope, and a philosophy of survival.
