Ukraine is creating a State Housing Policy Strategy: what will change for citizens

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine with a delegation from the World Bank, which was dedicated to the development of Ukraine's State Housing Policy Strategy and the HOPE project within the eRecovery program. The parties discussed the progress of the document, its structure, and main directions. Currently, meetings of working subgroups are being held, which are focused on various aspects of housing policy.Experts from the World Bank proposed conducting a study of the rental housing market to summarize international experience and best practices in regulating rental relations. The parties agreed to continue cooperation in this direction to create a comprehensive housing policy strategy. Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Natalia Kozlovska emphasized that cooperation with the World Bank helps integrate the best global practices into the strategy development process.
