The government approved the action program for 2025 and submitted the document for review by the Verkhovna Rada, reported the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko. According to Svyrydenko, the program identified 12 main directions, among which are security and defense, Eurointegration, anti-corruption, well-being, support for veterans, macro-finances and reforms, business, education and science, medicine and sports, restoration, stability in winter and culture.

'This document is our plan for addressing key issues in these areas, strengthening defense capabilities, supporting the army, increasing domestic production of weapons, ensuring the protection of citizens, developing the economy, and preparing for EU membership. We are doing all this together in the face of the challenges of full-scale war,' emphasized Svyrydenko.

The program was presented to the members of parliament, international partners, and representatives of analytical centers on August 18, after which a collection of proposals for improving the document was opened, involving experts, NGOs, business, and citizens.

The government received 683 proposals, with the most requests directed to the Ministry of Economy (184) and the Ministry of Community Development (80). Svyrydenko noted that most of the proposals have already been taken into account or partially implemented within the existing programs and strategies.

The action program for 2025, approved by the government, outlines 12 main directions in various areas, including security, Eurointegration, anti-corruption, and well-being. This document is key to plans for enhancing defense capabilities, developing the economy, and preparing for EU membership. After the presentation of the program, more than 600 proposals were received from various stakeholders, many of which have already been taken into account or partially implemented.
