Prices are dynamically formed, taking into account demand, flight load and buyer activity. On weekdays, corporate clients often buy tickets, which increases prices on short routes. On weekends, the demand structure changes, so fares may decrease. Analyzing bookings for 2026 shows a difference of up to 10-15% between days.

When tickets are the most expensive

The least favorable day for purchase turned out to be Wednesday: prices rise due to the peak of business travel. Tuesday and Saturday are also not suitable for those looking for savings; in these days, the cost of airline tickets is usually stable or elevated. Sunday is an intermediate option, approximately 5% cheaper than Wednesday.

Best days to buy airline tickets

According to experts, the greatest savings occur at the end of the workweek. The top includes:

• Friday - up to 13% cheaper compared to Wednesday, despite the high popularity of travel. The decrease is explained by the increase in the number of flights and destinations.

• Thursday - prices are lower than the midweek level, making this day one of the most advantageous for purchase.

Although dynamic fares change daily, in most cases, booking on Thursday or Friday allows you to significantly reduce costs. For those planning a trip in advance, choosing the right day can be a way to save without lowering comfort.
