According to glavcom.ua: On the night of November 23, explosions occurred in Sevastopol. According to local social media reports, they likely took place at the oil depot - one of the largest fuel facilities in the occupied Crimea, reports 'Glavkom'.

The occupying authorities claimed that all drones had been shot down 'far out at sea'. However, videos released on Crimean Telegram channels contradict these statements: the footage shows air defense systems operating over the city and loud explosions are heard on the ground.

Consequences of the explosions and possible damages

It is reported that the oil depot in Sevastopol, which is the second most powerful on the peninsula and a key refueling hub for the Russian Black Sea Fleet, was hit. The facility contained reserves of diesel fuel, gasoline, and aviation kerosene.

The consequences of the explosions and the scale of the damages are currently being clarified. As for Ukraine's official position - no confirmation has been received at that time.

Previous attacks on Russian facilities

Let us remind you that on the night of November 22, Russian oil and energy facilities again became the target of drone attacks. The cities of Syzran in the Samara region of Russia and Krasnoperekopsk in temporarily occupied Crimea were hit.

Overall, these events are part of a series of attacks on facilities in Russia and occupied Crimea, adding an additional tense moment to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
