Weather on Saturday: significant rains and thunderstorms expected in Ukraine

Saturday, October 4, promises to be cloudy with clearings in Ukraine. Rain with thunderstorms is expected in most parts of the country, except for the east. In the evening, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s may occur in the south of the country.

We will mainly observe a southeast wind with a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the southeast and east of the country, gusts of up to 15-20 m/s may occur during the day.

Temperature regime

At night, the temperature will be 5-10° Celsius, during the day 12-17°, and in the east and south of the country, it may reach up to 20°. In the highlands of the Carpathians, rain with wet snow is expected, with temperatures from 1° to 6° Celsius.

In the Kyiv region and the capital, clouds with precipitation and an eastern, southeast wind with a speed of 7-12 m/s are expected. The air temperature at night is 5-10°, during the day 12-17°. In Kyiv, the night temperature will be 6-8°, and during the day around 15°.

Forecaster Natalka Didenko emphasized that in October, we can expect sunny and warm days, but it is worth remembering to wear warm clothes and to be careful on the road, especially in fog.

There will still be warming; October has high degrees and sunshine in store. But let's not forget to dress warmly and to watch the road carefully when driving - there will be fogs!
