Витривалий інженер Богдан Змій: Як технологічні рішення рятували людей під час війни.

On October 26, a sad event occurred – Ukrainian engineer Bogdan Zmiy, founder of the company 'Rover TEK' and co-author of the robotic demining machine 'Zmiy', passed away. He made a significant contribution to enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities during the war with Russia by creating technology that saved the lives of sappers and civilians. The robotic machine 'Zmiy' was designed to clear territories of explosive ordnance, greatly simplifying and speeding up the demining process. It can traverse swamps and rough terrain, withstand landmine explosions, and reduce the danger to sappers. Zmiy planned to expand the production of 'Zmiy' machines to meet the needs of Ukrainian military forces on the front lines. He believed their work was important and heroic, and robotic machines were the future. Zmiy emphasized the need to devise ways to defeat the enemy because 'bullets have no eyes'. The Ukrainian robotic demining machine became a crucial tool in combating the consequences of war and saved many lives. The death of Bogdan Zmiy is a great loss for the Ukrainian military and engineering community.
