Military Personnel Salaries in October 2025: Amount, Bonuses, Rewards

In October 2025, Ukrainian military personnel will receive financial support that includes not only salary but also bonuses and significant rewards for completing combat missions. These payments are regulated by special rules established in the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine No.260. This is reported by finance.novyny.live.

What Makes Up Military Salaries

Military financial support consists of several components:

• Basic payments: the salary, which depends on rank.

• Additional payments: allowances for length of service, housing, or other service conditions.

• One-time rewards: bonuses and special payments for completing combat missions.

The minimum salary for military personnel is approximately 20,000 UAH per month. However, for those performing tasks with increased risk, additional payments are provided. 

What Rewards are Added to Military Salaries in October

According to resolution No.168, the amounts of rewards vary depending on the type of tasks:

• 30,000 UAH — for completing combat or special tasks under combat orders.

• 50,000 UAH — for those working in headquarters or military management bodies outside active combat zones.

• 100,000 UAH — for combat participants who directly ensure the defense of the country and the protection of citizens from Russian aggression.

Additionally, for every 30 days of completing combat missions, military personnel are awarded a one-time reward of 70,000 UAH. These funds are intended to motivate fighters and maintain their combat readiness.

Bonuses for Military Personnel Salaries

Bonuses also play an important role in the payment structure. Their minimum amount is 10% of the salary, but the sum can be higher depending on rank and service length. However, the size of the bonus directly depends on the discipline of the soldier. For example:

• A reprimand from the commander reduces the bonus by 10%.

• A strict reprimand — by 20%.

• Two reprimands — by 40%.

• Three reprimands — by 50%.

Such measures aim to support discipline and the quality of duty performance.
